Marina India has carried a preliminary study for MMB to identify the viability of developing a marina in the Mumbai area. The location of the site is confidential. Mumbai is in desperate need of a marina for its burgeoning yachting sector.
Marina India is working with a landowner in Maharashtra with a view to developing holiday homes on the banks of a large and picturesque lagoon. The lagoon will offer watersports and fishing. A tidal marina will also be developed nearby allowing home owners the opportunity to own a yacht for sea trips.
Marine India has teamed up with the Marinetek Group of Finland, the world’s largest supplier of pontoons outside North America. The new company is called Marinetek India. The company is able to design, supply and install pontoons not just for boat marinas, but also for landing.
